President’s Desk

With the successful conclusion of 15th annual conference of GAMS, held at MERIT between 14-16 Dec 2010, New Delhi, I would like to express my heartiest thanks to all the participants, invited experts, promoters & well wishers of the GAMS. I would take this opportunity to congratulate staff of MERIT for managing and organizing the conference in a very short span of time. I believe, with such enthusiastic people, we together would be able to achieve higher goals in the field of Mathematics and its applied areas in coming years. The research papers, theme lectures presented in the conference were really overwhelming and of international standard. With such wonderful success of GAMS conference, I can now see my dreams transforming into reality in the years to come.
We have already planned the next conference at Goa, a beautiful tourist attraction during the last quarter of 2011 & a workshop during the second quarter. Let us together greet the New Year 2011 with a solemn resolution to make our academy a grand platform for interdisciplinary research. I Wish the GAMS community and all the other active researchers a Innovative, Bright, Healthy and prosperous New Year 2011.
